February 20, 2013:

Hi I would just like let you know how happpy I have been with the customer service I have received from your Southland, Cheltenham store. In early December I shopped at your Melbourne City store and received a free Billabong watch as we spent over $100.00. A few weeks later my son was swimming with the watch on and the watch got waterlogged. I then took the watch back to your Southland store but did not have a copy of the receipt. The lady at the store, Kathey, went "above and beyond the call of duty for customer service"!!. Kathey rang the Melbourne store to see if she could retreive the receipt from the register. She then advised me that she couldn't and she then contacted your IT department to get a copy of the receipt emailed to her. The watch was then sent off for repairs. Over the period when the watch was in for repairs, I received a couple of phone calls from different and helpful staff at Southland, advising me of what was going on with the repairs. I was then advised that the watch was "unrepairable" and I would get a store credit. I returned to the store recently, to get a replacement watch with the credit. My son was adamant that he wanted the same watch as the original one and Kathey was only to happy to help, and rang other stores to see if she could get the same watch for him. Which she did... I shop at your Southland store quiet often, and everytime I have been there the staff have always been cheerful, willing to help and a pleasure to deal with. As sometimes 'customer service' can be a rarity these days, I have been more than happy to pass on to friends and family how pleased I am with the help and service I have received at the Southland store. So a BIG thank you to your staff at the Southland store..!!! I would appreciate if you could pass this on to them. Regards Michelle

I am writing to complement your Sales Staff on outstanding service. I recently went to your Highpoint, Melbourne Store with my teenage daughter to purchase bikinis and some other accessories. My daughter is at boarding school in Geelong and so we don't have a lot of time to shop and it is often quite stressful. Your Sales Manager was outstanding and I sincerely apologise for forgetting her name as it was over a week ago and I have returned to Hong Kong. She was absolutely amazing and I am hoping the description of blonde & blue hair will be sufficient. Shopping with a teenage daughter and for bathers would have to be very high on the stress list and it was made not only more manageable but we all shared a laugh and came out with an absolutely gorgeous bikinis (plus 3 T-shirts, plus a towel, plus a dress and thongs). While I spent more than I intended, I was not concerned given that it was such a pleasurable and memorable experience. Once again I apologise for not remembering your Sales Manager's name, but I am hoping you will pass on my congratulations on fantastic service. Kindest regards, Anne

Hi, I felt obliged to notify you of exceptional customer service my husband and I received recently at one of your retail stores. My husband is not the best shopper (like many men!), so it is a rare, and not very fun, experience when he does decide it's time to stock up his wardrobe in one hit! Saturday 3rd February was the day and Jetty Surf at Westfield Marion was the target! Basically we were in the store for at least one hour and during that time we were assisted by Mark. The service we received from Mark was probably the best I have received in recent years at any retail store. Mark was patient, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. He assisted in making selections and giving my husband ideas on different styles. We ended up spending almost $500, so the whole trip was well worthwhile and my husband was very happy with his purchases. Mark was also happy to place an order for shorts in a different colour to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. We will definitely go straight to Jetty Surf for future purchases based on this experience. As an employee Mark is a fantastic representative for your company and I can't thank him enough. To whom it may concern, I would like give feedback about your customer services assistant, Dave @ Highpoint store. I visited your store on the 23rd January 2013 & purchased a suitcase & a overnight bag costing over $300, Dave assisted me for approximately 30 mins as I was indecisive, flustered & panicking as I'm travelling Australia from overseas. Dave was very patient, considerate, accommodating & utilising positive humour. I don't ever take time out to comment on any customer service assistants but I felt I should comment about Dave as he was friendly, helpful - well not to my purse, unique & easy to work with. January 7, 2013:

Hi I am writing this email because I believe in giving credit where it is due and I had a very impressive young man in Tea Tree Plaza store on Saturday around lunch time. His name was Jackson? And he was very friendly and helpful and made sure I was completely satisfied with my shopping experience. I have shopped many times in this store and he is the most attentive and helpful staff member I have come across. In our brief conversation I asked him how long he had been working as I had not seen him before and he stated that he he was a Xmas casual and was unsure wether he would be there the next time I shopped. I must say, I would be very disappointed if your company didn't keep him on as if I had this type of service I am sure others would have too. I do hope to see him next time I am in the store. Hi, I just wanted to get in touch to share my shopping experience at your Highpoint (VIC) store this evening.After unexpectedly needing to take a young friend of mine shopping so that she could purchase a last minute gift I found myself at Highpoint at about 10pm on 23 Dec. After walking from one end of the centre to the other your store was outstanding by far.All of your staff greeted me in a genuinely cheerful manner, and were enthusiastic about offering to help. Although there was a lot of customers in the store staff would smile and say hi and check we were ok whenever they came past as they assisted other customers, I felt that as soon as we needed help we would be assisted, which is a big ask this close to Christmas. Your staff are a credit to your company, I just wanted to say keep up the great work! Thanks, Lizzie

Visited your Pagewood store yesterday. Staff are sensational. Whatever it is you are doing with them... keep doing it. Polite, cheerful, seeing if you need any help, yet never over the top. To whom it may concern,I would like to thank Seb, in the Belconnen store in the ACT. I've been seaching for a Volcom Bag and could not find the design my daughter wanted, after a lot of enquiries with no success i went into the Belconnen store on Saturday and asked Seb if he could locate one for me. He was very polite and nothing was to much trouble, apart from that he found the bag i needed for my daughter. He located the baghad it brought in and i picked it up Sunday. This is not the first time i have been served by him, and every time he has provided outstanding customer service and advice. He is a credit to the company and my wife and i thought he should say something, as good service is hard to find.Regards,Brett and Michelle

November 5, 2012:

To whom it may concern, I write to draw your attention to the excellent customer service I recently experienced at one of your retail outlets. On Friday 26th October 2012 I was in Canberra for business and wanted to buy gifts for my two teenage daughters. I visited Surf Dive 'n' Ski on the Ground Floor of the Canberra Centre and was approached by a young female assistant who, in the customary manner, asked if she could offer any assistance. I declined any assistance at the time but she responded by drawing my attention to a rack of sale items in the corner of the store. The conversation that followed led her to selecting sizes and styles that would be suitable for my daughters, based on the information I provided. I subsequently purchased two dresses which, I might add, were greeted with significant approval from my daughters. Whilst this would seem like an ordinairy transaction, I bring this to your attention as the assistant was persuasive without being intimidating, helpful without being condescending and genuinely courteous and respectful. In fact, had she not engaged so professionally, it is unlikely I would have remained in the store for more than a few moments, let alone make any purchases. Further, she knew her business extremely well, not only in helping me to choose appropriate styles and sizes, but also by identifying affiliated stores in Tasmania in which I could exchange the garments should they prove unsuitable. Further again, she highlighted her name and the store contact details on the receipt and offered to be contacted directly should I have any issues once I returned to Tasmania. I have since misplaced the receipt, but I seem to recall the assistants name may have been Victoria and she is best described as being young, of slim build, with fair hair and a Scottish accent. Her professionalism, communication skills and engaging demeanor are a credit both to herself and your business, and I would be pleased if you could ensure my appreciation is passed on to both her and her supervisor or manager. Good afternoon, I just wanted to let you know about the exceptional customer service I have received at your Parramatta store. I have taken my 14 year old son shopping in your Parramatta store twice in the last two months, the last time on Saturday, and have been given fantastic customer service both times. The staff you have there are outstanding! Always smiling, warm and welcoming and nothing is a hassle for them. Your onto a winning customer service experience which is a rare thing . I've spread the word to all my friends and colleagues to shop at your Parramatta store and will continue to do so. Hi There,I visited your store on Friday the 2nd November to purchase a couple of shirts. On entering I was greeted by a sales assistant called Shona who said she had recently transferred from another store. I cannot commend her enough as she was most helpful, courteous and very professional. I have been in the sales game for over 10 years and it was very refreshing to see someone so enthusiastic and personable who was willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Good Morning,I would just like to provide some feedback on some excellent customer service I received at the Highpoint Jetty Surf store. On a mission to purchase some new bathers (never a comfortable task), however the store manager couldnt be more hepful, providng advice on styles and shapes that would suit, and insisting to search through recently delivered stock still boxed up back of house.
